What is Hackahealth?
Hackahealth is a medical hackathon in which coding and medical experts get together as innovators to design solutions to the most critical issues of our healthcare industry. The hackers or better known as programmers build their teams of 4 to 6 members and spend 3 days of intensive planning and programming to design, code and present their product (mobile app) to a panel of judges.
The first Iranian Hackahealth event was hosted by Abadan Medical University in 2016 with 21 teams, 6 technical mentors and 6 health mentors. 2019 Hackahealth is hosted by Shairf University of Technology-International Campus on the beautiful Kish Island as a centre for technology and innovation. As a prominent university in Iran, SUTIC has always promoted entrepreneurship and creativity to prepare the infrastructure for more globally competitive industries.
